Beneath the canopy of century old trees, Bogart’s House was created for dogs who need a calmer, more personal kind of care.
Bogart is the kind of dog who loves comfort, routine, and familiar places. At home, he’s calm, social, and deeply gentle—happiest curled beside you on the couch or quietly following the sunlight from room to room.
But outside the house was a different story. Even small outings—a pup cup run, the Lowe’s nursery, the dog park—often left him anxious and desperate to get back home.
When I had to leave for New York for two weeks, I became overwhelmed thinking about where he would stay and how he would feel while I was gone. I searched everywhere for daycare and boarding that felt calm, personal, and reassuring.
Instead, most places felt loud, crowded, and impersonal. Large groups of dogs packed into indoor playrooms. “Suite upgrades” that still felt cold. Add-on services like cuddle time or fetch that quietly made me wonder how much genuine attention dogs were actually receiving throughout the day.
Having volunteered in shelters and fostered rescue dogs for years, I couldn’t shake the feeling that many dogs simply needed something softer.
More familiar. More human. A place that felt like a real home instead of a facility.
So Bogart’s House was created as an alternative—a calm, home-based space in Grant Park with couches instead of kennels, shaded outdoor space instead of concrete play yards, and intentionally small group sizes so every dog receives thoughtful attention and room to settle in naturally.

Two fully fenced yards with sun, shade, mature trees, and room to actually run. Located one block from the BeltLine, Bogart’s House gives dogs real outdoor enrichment, fresh air, and space to move naturally throughout the day.

We cap at six guest dogs at a time so every dog receives real supervision, calm energy, and individual attention. It feels more like a familiar household than a crowded facility.

Someone is always home. Dogs are never left in a kennel room overnight or checked on in rotations.

Expect photos, videos, and honest communication so you always know how your dog is settling in, playing, resting, and spending their day.

Not every dog wants the same kind of day. Some want to sprint and wrestle. Others want quiet company and a couch nearby. Dogs can comfortably rotate between spaces based on temperament, play style, and energy level.

Dogs move freely between shaded yards, porches, sunny spots, couches, and quiet indoor spaces throughout the day.

No warehouse rows of crates or “luxury suites” behind closed doors. Dogs rest in cozy indoor spaces with couches, rugs, sunny windows, and quiet corners that feel like home.

We intentionally welcome just 6 dogs per day to provide personalized care, supervised play, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
Schedule your playdays whenever you'd like—you're never locked into the same day each week.
Playday Packs can be shared between all dogs in the same household.
Two dogs attending together use two playdays.
All Playday Packs are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
